Modular Eurythmy Therapy Training for Doctors
The medical field is increasingly challenged by mechanization, digitization and rationalization (elimination of important medications, etc.).
The future of eurythmy therapy and Anthroposophic Medicine depends to a large extent on whether and how doctors are given access to this therapy. This is the purpose of our training.
If “every form is a movement that has come to rest”, as Rudolf Steiner said, then every metal, every medicinal plant – be it iron, arnica or chicory – has come to rest from a state of being in movement. Every healing substance is a process that has come to rest. How, for example, can meteoric iron-phosphor-quartz, Infludo or another medicine be converted back into movement, into moving processes, and thus support their healing forces?
In the eurythmy therapy training for doctors at the Goetheanum, we want to work with such questions from at least two sides: eurythmy therapy from the aspect of process and movement, and medicine from the aspect of form and substance. By questioning back and forth and merging the two approaches, we can gain a comprehensive understanding of the processes of disease and healing. From this, we can further develop a forward-looking anthroposophic art of healing that is true to life.
